Advanced Security For Advanced Threats
A web application security assessment is an evaluation of the security of a web application, with the goal of identifying any vulnerabilities or misconfigurations that could compromise the security of the application. A web application is a software application that is accessed over the internet using a web browser.
During a web application penetration test, a team of security professionals will attempt to exploit vulnerabilities in the web application in order to determine its security posture. The assessment may include testing the application's input validation, authentication, authorization, and other security controls, as well as reviewing the policies and procedures in place to protect the application. The results of the assessment can be used to identify any issues that need to be addressed in order to improve the security of the web application, and to develop recommendations for securing the application.
At Nanorisk we have built on top of the OWASP testing methodology to test all of our client’s web applications.
